Tammie, thanks for the reasoned post. It seemed like some of the other Villa guys on the board were unpleasant to say the least. I truthfully do comprehend the frustration that Villa fans must have with the sale. Firstly, it was not the City fans who bought the club, it was the Sheikh. After many years of dross it was a miracle to see City leap forward. Whilst I welcome all the success, I just wanted once in my life to see City win a trophy and being there against Stoke with my son was my greatest day, the rest a total bonus. That stupid 34 year rag banner coming down was immense. I was in tears. I believe the Sheikh looked at Everton and Newcastle before City. Recently, when Newcastle were looking at investment from Saudi Arabia, most of the posts on this site were actually positive and welcomed the competition. How we would love to be in the top four with Newcastle yourselves and maybe Everton, screwing the rags and dippers would be such fun to see. I hate the term plastic for our fans, as if you go to City, or read this forum, you will see we seem to have an older fanbase, many of whom lived through the dark times. And truthfully they were dark, but we still supported our club. You will still love Villa without Jack, and rightly so. Best of luck next season.Hi Villa fan in peace ,I always preferred city over utd even thou you guys always seem to take our best players. We are all gutted jack has left . 100 million is a lot of money but to us Jack is irreplaceable basically priceless. We have to accept our place in the player food chain and city are at the top. It must be amazing to be a city fan especially for the ones who were there before your rich owners. The guy is going to increase your global fan base big time as he is a pin up boy . Just wondering what city fans made of other ex villa players at city ie Barry , Milner and Delph nb. Apologies for the animal villa fan who hit a young city fan at Wembley we have our fair share of idiots as does every club.
We are,but i dont believe the claims in that article.....its just whipping up a frenzy to suit the narrative and create the outrage.Grealish wanted the club that could match his ambition, but he also wanted to play alongside Phil and Kev,and to better himself under Pep - that's why he's here and that's the main reason he left his first love.We are truly hated. The media have done their job exceedingly well.
Agenda, what agenda?
Not particularly arsed about the article itself, but more people read it and the whole thing is just self perpetuating. More hatred. We are,but i dont believe the claims in that article.....its just whipping up a frenzy to suit the narrative and create the outrage.Grealish wanted the club that could match his ambition, but he also wanted to play alongside Phil and Kev,and to better himself under Pep - that's why he's here and that's the main reason he left his first love.

If I were a city fan I would not worry about other clubs comments about your rich owners etc it’s only jealousy. Look after jack for us.My worry is we have have 15000 fans on the season ticket waiting list how many will cancel now Jack has left.Tammie, thanks for the reasoned post.
