Interestingly The Athletic's article suggests he's expected to play alongside Rodri in a double-pivot in certain games next season.

Everything is now pointing to pep extending for a long time. Fringe players leaving and not renewing knowing they are not part of peps first team plans. Also new players coming in saying the chance to work with pep was a big factor.
