I think we recognised that Steffan wanted to go to get playing time and had a look around to see what we could get, without spending too much.

Time will tell as to whether he will challenge Ederson for the first team. He’ll very much be a backup at the moment.

Hopefully Phillips is going to turn out a great addition. Nice interview and seems an honest humble guy, keen to learn from the best.
He made huge progress with Bielsa as a manager. If he can continue to progress under Pep we might have a bargain on our hands.

I like to think with Haaland, Alvares and Phillips we have a new kind of aggressive players in our squat and maybe Pep and Txiki realised it.

I think with the new additions we might see a slightly different more direct, faster approach
