Yep. Somethings cooking thats for sureI think Pep has sold the false 9 to the rest of the teams, and is now going to re invent english football again .
Phillips probably knows they as a scuffler, or maybe a bread cake.I'm assuming the debate will now be:
Mufffin, barm or teacake!
Batty was the first English player that understood how to play as a defensive midfielder. The others of his generation thought they just needed to be pretty static in front of the centre backs. Batty understood that he needed to read situations when out of possession and to make himself available when his team had the ball.Batty was an excellent player.
I loved Batty as a player. I think Phillips has a lot more range to his passing though.Batty was an excellent player.
Looks like he can't even do basic English. How come you can pluralise Sports, but not maths?
Ah, he’s American! Why didn’t you say? ;-)Looks like he can't even do basic English.

I thought it went without saying ;)Ah, he’s American! Why didn’t you say? ;-)
Just managed to get to watch the interview with him. Maybe it's me, but I didn't think the interview had much of a flow to it. Mainly down to the interviewer, I feel. Seemed to be a scattergun approach to the questioning. Compare it to Khaldoon's annual end of season pieces. Chris Bailey is excellent in his role.
