I've grown to fucking love their hatredI just find it funny how fast the narrative changes when English players join us.
Sterling: Best English talent in generations etc - Joins City becomes overrated and attacked from everything from buying his mum a sink to shopping in poundland.
Stones: The next Ferdinand at Everton suddenly becomes shite player who should hoof it into Row Z every chance he gets.
Walker: Best English RB, defended to the hilt whenever he did something wrong now becomes shite player who can't even cross the ball. Overpriced blah blah blah.
Like as soon as the ink drys on their City contracts the whole media flicks a switch and goes onto the attack.
Well we both know that isn't true. We wanted him gone and he has taken a step down.
Zaba is a Legend. But Walker is a good optionHe won't be. But that's neither here nor there. Zaba for 2 years was pretty special.
Well we both know that isn't true. We wanted him gone and he has taken a step down.

Think this is the most divisive signing I've seen for City in years... lots of people think he's a bit of a prick. Personally I think they're right, but he's ours now and I think he'll win a lot of fans over with his energy and passion. Not to mention that he's a big, big step up from what we're used to.
lol!
