Idiot. Great player though
Meh! Soon forgotten if he plays well enough.
Idiot. Great player though
It is jealousy of course (Chelsea and United also suffer from this) but there is an element of City's support who lack grace and humility and have forgotten how things once were.
So if we sign Bertrand and Tosin gets a chance we could potentially put out an all English back 4. Wonder when we last did that?
Good signing. Don't like the fella, but then I'm feeling more and more like that about most players these days.
Hopefully it goes some way towards playing the football we crave, and cures a problem area for a while at least.
It'd get overlooked. Or Sky would call it an all-mercenary back 4
Oooh someone is touchy. We didn't lose anyone, we wanted to sell him. We also have England rightback Trippier to come in, who is much better going forward than Walker. 500 mins 5 assists last season in the PL against Walker's 2000+ mins 5 assists. Poch wanted him gone, and we got a record deal for him.
Our defensive record still remained amazing without walker in the side and he was the most dispensable player in our whole side, and that is a fact, you won't be able to name me another first 11 player we would have rather sold than Walker, and keep a straight face.
Enjoy your new signing, no need to get all nasty, and remember, we finished a nice distance in front of you last season.
They'd then mention their heritage to lessen the sting of it for themselves. It'd get overlooked. Or Sky would call it an all-mercenary back 4
Excessive fees all summer, but the Guardian wait until this one to do their "Madness Grips the League" article, and then does another claiming that the fee is £53m. I won't link to the bunch of pricks.
I'm expecting at least double figures in goals and a minimum of 40 assists. He'll get Ballon d'Or this year. No doubt about it.
That how I see it too, prices are double what they should be.I certainly think £50million is too much...but then I see £90million for Lukaku and it's all ok

that Nike City t-shirt is amazing and I want one
I get those kind of articles. They were never written when the rags were doing it in the 90s and early 2000s. They only started when Chelsea and then us threatened the status quo. They're so fucking transparent. Even in this article that's supposed to be about the crazy prices in the Premier League generally, the Lukaku deal is quoted as £75m +add ons, whereas ours is quoted as up to £53m.I never get those type of articles. "Oh no English clubs are paying lots of money so that our league has lots of good players so the football we watch each week is even better". Would they rather all the good players fuck off to Germany or Spain and the sort of players left here are the Charlie Adam's?
