Yeah. I thought the first pages in the transfer thread were a bit odd. Most probably hadn't seen much of him and they were based on one performance where he went offside a few times.4 year deal for someone who turns 30 in a couple of months.
Doesn't really fit the profile of the type of player I thought we'd be doing for.
Interesting to note the tone of this thread and the last few pages of the thread in the transfer forum compared to the posts when we were first linked with him ;-)

Turning 30 seems to be a curse here on blue moon.
I don't know exactly how good he is at Celta but just want to point out, Barca didn't let him go, he chose to leave despite Barca's contract offer.Now, this I don't understand.

The other other interesting/ alarming thing he says in his vid, is that he was 'a whisker away from being in the 'elite' team'. He played under PG once, according to him; so Guardiola obviously let him go.
