For me, he should play instead of KDB in that high central position close to Haaland. I want the old legs out of the team and, positionally, the only old player that Marmoush can actually replace is KDB. We’d be instantly improved if we just had 10 outfield players that can run.

Marmoush has 14 assists and 20 goals this season tbf. He is an upgrade on current KDB, people need to understand that.

KDB has 6 assists and 2 goals

We need to get Marmoush central and close to goal. He’s one of the leading players in Europe for goal contributions (might only be Salah with more? Not sure). That’s why I think it has to be KDB that plays less. Get Marmoush close to Haaland.

You are correct,but the glaring weakness has so far not been fixed and it’s a priority unless the club are completely wiping this season off and starting from the club World Cup ..

I don't disagree, but KDB has been injured and recovering from injury.
What I hope is that Marmoush can relieve some of his burden in being a true creator in the side. Kev cannot play with the same level of intensity three times a week; Gundo cannot; Bernardo cannot; Stones cannot; Ake cannot... All of those players need proper cover that will, in time, replace them completely.
