He definitely not a KDB replacement more of the Alaverz/Jesus and Mahrez type. Anyway welcome to Manchester, perhaps a litte too early for signing another attacking player (especially with current lot are regaining their form) and finding a suitable DM is more of a higher priority but it is guarantee he hasn't ended up in North London.

We need to get Marmoush central and close to goal. He’s one of the leading players in Europe for goal contributions (might only be Salah with more? Not sure). That’s why I think it has to be KDB that plays less. Get Marmoush close to Haaland.

He is not only a goal scorer, he can create chances for the whole Team. Give him the Ball and it will be dangerous for the opponent.

No you’re right. Until we fix our midfield we will keep seeing last night happen, but his pace and press may help with some of that.

This is a player that needs to be in starting 11 even if it means one of the successful old guard miss out.

Purchasing in Jan suggests that could be the intention.

It will. We lose the ball in transition and don't finish teams off. But I see our inability to defend as down to the absence of top defenders. Kovacic, Foden, Bernardo is a good enough midfield but remember the song that we took to Istanbul. Ederson and Ake, Walker & Akanji, Reuben DIas Johnny Stones. How many of them play now?

Move Foden/Bernardo to midfield. Put Marmoush on the wing. Take KDB out. That will help but I don't think Pep will drop KDB.

The announcement proclaims, "...And the most exciting news of all for City is that at the age of 25 Marmoush’s best years are still very much ahead of him." So, someone - at least in the media dept at the club - realises what our problem is!

With that in mind, Marmoush is going to be a great signing.

No, Marmoush is far better centrally and would be wasted on wing.
Foden on the right and Bernardo should be out and hopefully a new CM

Isn’t that mainly because of injuries though. KDB recently has been really good and he’s still world class for me.

I’m hoping Marmoush is brilliant and he looks like a really good player in the bundesliga. I’m not writing off KDB yet though
 
He looks like a very good, exciting player.
Hopefully he can offer us something different and take some pressure off Erling.
