If we had a solid midfield base then you could have Phil, Marmoush and Savinho behind Erling.
If......
As it stands, we don't so I suspect he'll play wide.

Well he spotted that Chelsea reject KDB right away ....no kidding Mr Merson he knows you know.
 
He's very likeable at first, you can tell by looking at him that he's going to be a massive player for us. He must be a starter by the weekend!
 
Poor timing to announce this, should have left it until tonight or tomorrow, last nights woeful performance is still lingering and puts a dampener on it somewhat.

I'm sure he'll be a success here but even if he hits the ground running, he's not going to move the needle much for us this season because his area of the pitch isn't close to the main problems in this side.

Surely goes straight in the side for Chelsea now. Foden doesn't deserve to be in the team and kdb hasn't got it in him to play every game and will be needed for Brugge. Put him in either of those positions and let him just do his thing before we coach out any directness out of him.

I think losing last night was why it was announced today. Distraction from last night's shit show.

Deal was probably done at the weekend and should have been announced Monday.
