If you think Barca only play short, you are quite deluded.. Being capable of playing different ways gives any team more options and makes the oppositions off the ball work harder. We are playing high balls because we can, and as time goes on, you'll notice that our success rates with them are improving.

Also, with playing 90 minutes less than most teams, we are still in the top 7 of total number of passes completed, indicating our generally rather short style of play.

In short, I never really got the criticism of us developing our tactics to give us more different options.
