That's a reasonable post from a United fan ..... and you don't see too many of them!

A few questions for you though ....... are you genuinely happy or disappointed with your summer signings?

Do you think , with the players you've signed , you've done enough to make a play for the title again?

What do you REALLY think of the players that City have signed?

I think you'll miss Ronaldo more than some of you reckon you will.

in all honesty im not completely confident in what fergies done this summer, and i have a feeling its gunna go tits up but untill it does you'd be mad not to trust fergie

who would of thought that when van nistelrooy left ronaldo would turn into a 30goal player?!?!

fergie has a knack of getting this kinda thing right but yea im more than sceptical this season

city signings...

barry, good signing, not excellant at anything but hardly does anything wrong, mr dependable to let ireland affect the game in better areas

tevez is quality, he is scum in my eyes, but a great footballer, wont score you 20 goals but he will bring alot more to the table, the whole team was lifted when tevez was on the pitch

dubious about santa cruz, to pay that kind of money for someone who has only ever scored more than 5 league goals once is a gamble to say the least, and thats without mentioning his injury record

and im not a fan of adebayor at all, the clue is the fact arsenal fans arnt bothered hes gone, and no other clubs came in for him...he has the ability to be brilliant and awful all within 5 minutes lol

as for ronaldo he was simply the best player my two eyes have ever seen, he had 0% likeability but the man is special, cant deny him his dream though and i wish him all the luck in the world, we will miss him alot

Fair (and constructive) answers ....... thanks for answering.

It's hard to understand what went on with Tevez behind the scenes at your place ..... the player and the manager seemed to have differing viewpoints , the Glazers said nothing , and the players agent was constantly in the news ...... but Fergie could never say for sure during the season whether or not Tevez would or wouldn't be staying , only that it would be taken care of at the end of the season ....... maybe the clubs owners went back on their word , or had an input into his release .. who knows?

see i dont mind having rags like you on this board because so far you are bringing decent conversation and actually knows something about football, unlike some of the other f*ckwits who claim to support you're club who come on here spouting abuse straight away with names like "bertie33". lets hope you continue in this way so we can get "the enemy's" point of view lol

To be honest, I don't really consider United to be our rivals anymore.

I'd say Barcelona and Real Madrid were our real rivals now.

Mind you, it is good for Manchester to have two teams in the premiership I suppose.

23 I tend to agree with your answers except Ade. he may be lazy but the man is a clinical finisher on the ground and in the air. of course the lazy tag has been applied to many a good tall front man over the years. no one complains as long as he puts the ball in the back of the net when presented with the opportunity.

I've never had any problems discussing footie with my Mancunian rag mates, I've only lost my temper with or despaired of the ones who live further down the M6.
In fact, at the last derby in Trafford I met up with Mancunian rags both before and after the game, but that was after braving abuse from some cockney scum before getting into town.

Good Post Rag Boy. Who do you think we will replace in the top 4? I work in London with loads of Gooners and they are all sh*tting themselves

arsenal are weakening rather than strengthing, so id say them but alot rides on how your new signings gel because as villa found out last season its a long long season to maintain that kind of form

i`m glad you like it, we all know its a just a piss take but what a belter, i agree it would be good for greater manchester to have two teams at the top of the league this year, although i think i`d prefer you in 2nd and city in 1st funny enough andfor you to lose both derbies heavily ;) oh and you`ll only get away with the suckholing for a sort while, i`m feeling magnanimous at the moment. ;)
