Welcome To Manchester..

uniteds stance never changed though - we will sort it at the end of the season

and thats what we attempted to do, i fully agree fergie didnt treat him the best in regards to team selection and all that but what was consistant is that we said we would sort it at the end of the season

its unfair to compare it to a straight forward contract renewal as it was much more complex than that, and while your challenging on 5 fronts its probably the last thing you wanna be worrying about

that said i completely agree that fergie pissed him about in footballing terms but as far as the contract talks went our situation never changed, unlike tevez - 'if they offer me a contract i'll sign it'

My opinion on United at present.

Defence - One of the, if not best defence in the world, will be even better when the caramac kid returns.

Strike force - Quality for all different reasons. Passion, work rate and match-winningness - Rooney, Class and techique - Berbatov, Ability to be there right place right time - Owen.

Midfield - not as good as Chelseas, Liverpools and DARE I SAY IT, ours. Carrick is head and shoulders above Anderson, Fletcher, Park. Scholes and Giggs aren't going to start more than 30 games between them. Nani has question marks all over him.

Verdict: You'll win the league (just) but you won't be in Madrid next May.

Well, if Ferguson honestly thought that a sought after footballer like Tevez was going to be badly treated in a footballing sense all season and then just sit around until June whilst United fannied about thinking about whether they want him or not, then he must have been on sauce even more than usual.

That may have been United's stance and it may not have changed. But to expect a top player to be happy with that scenario is at best naive.

But, as I've said, I think they knew exactly what would transpire and, for whatever reason (being skint being my theory) they were ahppy to let it happen.

WHAT A REFRESHING CHANGE!

This post took me totally by surprise. I work with a lot of Rags and they are not just just "BITTER" but they sometimes reach the point of aggression. One spouted that even if we did win something we would never be as successful as they have been. He then went on to say that Utd's three European cups were worth more than Real Madrids Six on the bounce because Europe is a harder cometition now.

WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS!

It was nice to read honest views from an honest football fan. (Though still a RAG...lol)

There are clear differences between rival banter and just plain arrogance and sour grapes.

its funny you mention being skint because i still wanna know where the ronaldo money has gone, but one thing i also think is an important factor is fergie not wanting to get his pants pulled down, spending 30m plus on a flop is more embarrassing then not buying anyone at all, we went in for benzema and i think fergie knew he was the one, there isnt alot out there worth buying for the kind of prices being banded about, zlatan for 40m plus eto'o, i mean everton are asking 30m for lescott :|

To be honest, I don't really consider United to be our rivals anymore.

I'd say Barcelona and Real Madrid were our real rivals now.

Mind you, it is good for Manchester to have two teams in the premiership I suppose.

Shame Eto'o did not feel the same.

We don't need discussion with Rags on here. We get enough of it at work in the pub etc. Let's face it, just like rats, you're never more than a meter away from a Rag! It won't be long before hmmmm23 reverts to type and starts with all the 'Bitter' 'Massive' '33 years' nonsense.

That being the case, take your nicey nicey Ragisms back to Rag Cafe or whatever it's called and stick to slapping each other on the back over how great a signing Michael Owen is! LOL.

PS. Could any Blues on here ever contemplate registering on a Rag Forum and post nicey nicey bollocks about United just to try and win a few cyber friends and prove how nice a person they are?

Lol it's not niceites, I've been on the forum a while an considering this was my 50th post I'd have surely been tryna make e-friends long before now...

I just think the posters a good idea, it gave me a chuckle I wish my club thought of it...

Posting on here that I find it laughable your all happy with mr nike refering to your club as a project, and it's cool for you to have foreign owners but not us would be completely pointless as it wouldn't go far would it....

So when your ready fuck off back under your rock caveman :)
