The guy has been praised by a lot of people on here recently and I would personally like to thank him and his staff in the way they changed our club so much for the better. I seriously can't say enough good things about the fella. The new kit deal speaks volumes as it has pleased so many fans and will be a huge hit, hopefully the club will release more than he supposed 40,000 shirts as I believe all of the new kits are going to be huge sellers. He comes on here and takes in the fans' opinions and ideas to take the club forward, I really like this. He seems to put the fans' view first. People who attended the kit preview the other night said how friendly he was and heard him talking to individuals about future transfers, the Barry buy was a great buy and a big forward step for the club and Garry seems to believe us fans will be over the moon with the signings to come. With Sheikh Mansour's investment along with Khaldoon Al Mubarak and Garry Cook's fantastic PR skills I believe the club will go from strength to strength.

Is this the same guy that was berated on here during his first few months at the club for his failure with the Ronaldinho and Kaka deals?? You wouldn't think it would you?
Just goes to show what time and patience can bring. In the space of a few months we took on new owners, new board, new manager, new backroom staff...yet a good percentage of the people on here were expecting, even demanding, instant results. Laughable really, but looking at the overall picture we are being run by the most efficient and pragmatic management team in years (perhaps ever?) and the sky really is the limit. So let's all try and enjoy it together, and trust the guys running the show rather than bickering and dividing oursleves.

So yes, thanks Garry, the board and management staff and ultimately Shiek Mansour.
