Precisely and about time we had somebody running the club on a day-to-day basis who understands what the fans want and makes a determined effort to give them that. Wow, the dark days of cheap, skinflint attitudes and crap 'a la' Swailes and Lee seem like a bad but thankfully distant nightmare!!

I agree mate, I did refer to him as well in the original post. He stays out of the limelight and also seems to take the fans' ideas and welfare on board, for example the extended time on season ticket sales due to the current financial climate, top man.

Yep, hes been brilliant since he gave up them documentarys where he used to trace and confront fugitives.
