Well done Bobby

Very clever this by Mancini. Been all over SSN today that we've had some very dodgy decisions recently. They were of course only showing the incidents to highlight Mancini's 'bad behaviour', but they certainly wouldn't have highlighted them if Mancini hadn't attracted attention to them.

Yep that shitbag Chris Foy in the spotlight and the FA who backed his 4 match suspension while completely ignoring all the other incidents that actually do warrant a red card

Keep waving it at the biased twats Bobby

As gestures go it is perfectly acceptable to me, so long as it is actually warranted.

I was annoyed with Rooney doing it not because he did it, but because (IMO) he did it when it wasn't warranted in order to steal an advantage. Mancini then did it against Liverpool because we had just been shafted and had a ban upheld, then we see a worse offence completely unpunished - which made the Kompany ban impossible to justify.

Last night was such a blatant red that it was mystifying that he stayed on. Figueroa cheated yet Mancini is the villain for displaying discontent with him getting away with it?

I don't get the whole 'trying to get a player sent off' argument - surely the player has done that themselves through their actions?

No different to the back four putting their hands up, appealing for offside? No one ever says 'trying to get a player given offside' do they?

Some right pontificating cunts in this country lol. How can an imaginary anything cause such a fuss?

I was talking about having respect for the culture you work in.

that's exactly why Mancini should do it all the time. To uncover that hypocrite so called fair play culture that gets blind when English players dive or English/Brittish managers moan.

The one that doesn't give a shit when English FA appeal for Rooney's leg breaking act or when Rooney is jumping on referees, swearing on them etc.. but when Mancini does it, every f'n moron in country feels he has right to preach to and teach Mancini about fair-play, culture and class..

Media to preach and teach someone about class, fair-play and culture ? Football fans, players or managers to do the same ? It's the biggest oxymoron ever.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has criticised Manchester City counterpart Roberto Mancini for waving an imaginary card in a bid to have Wigan's Maynor Figueroa sent off.

The gesture came during City's 1-0 win at the DW Stadium on Monday night, when Mancini tried to get Figueroa dismissed for a deliberate handball in the 88th minute.

He was also seen making the action in a recent match with Liverpool following a foul by Reds defender Glen Johnson.

While McCarthy acknowledges there are cultural differences between managing in England compared to the continent, he is unimpressed by Mancini's gestures.

McCarthy said: "None of us should do it. It is something I don't like. There is a cultural difference. Roberto is in this country now.

"It is a little blip on a really good career for him at Man City because he handles himself with such good dignity and grace.

"He has done it. I wouldn't expect him to do it to one of my players or anyone else for that matter.

"I don't think anyone should do it. It is wrong. It looks bad and I'm sure if it is pointed out, Roberto won't do it again.

"I see [Wigan boss] Roberto Martinez has said the same and he has been here long enough and he understands it is just not done."

He continued: "I had it with QPR a while back. I took real offence to it. [Assistant manager] Bruno Oliveira did it.

"We didn't see eye to eye on that. Paolo Sousa was in charge and he was really apologetic and he explained that is their culture.

"But I said 'you are in our league and our culture, don't do it and we will get on'."

McCarthy added: "We have to give people a bit of credence for different culture and different places.

"But when they come here they have to understand like if I go anywhere else, I have to understand their culture.

"I was asked the other day should we be teaching players coming into this country to behave.

"I said 'no, I know how to behave and I've been all over the world in my capacity as Irish manager and not upset anyone'."

I would suggest Roy Keane may take issue with that comment...

Oh, and Mick, I like you. I actually really do.

But you whinge on the telly after decisions have gone against you, you berate 4th. officials when you feel an injustice... Mancini only articulates his similar frustrations in a different manner to you, that's all.

That's exactly what pisses me off here. They are isolating one gesture and making Armageddon one from it, while on other side doing absolutely same shit with other gestures, talks etc.. and speak about f'n culture

Hypocrite twats

Exactly This. Mancini is branded a villain for daring to ask for a warranted red card that the players actions deserve. I can understand his frustration because that is pretty much 3 game's on the trot now where the other team should have had a red card but was never given. The media needs to stop making a big deal about the hand gesture and actually question why was he doing it in the first place? Because the standard of officials in this league are not good enough by far. The refs should be the ones under the spotlight here not Mancini. But they will continue to get away with it and I can see the FA giving Mancini a touchline ban if he does it again due to the media pressure.

Good on yer Bob..

If the Ref had done his job properly then Bob wouldnt be waving imaginary reds..

The ref should have been waving his...we all know that..

When another club, player, manager, ref does something remotely wrong they are Dickheads, tools, bell ends (Seems to be a favourite on here that one), part of an agenda etc... etc...

When Mancini does it it is fine!

Nothing like a bit of blue bias......
