1) He is not the sole factor in that. There are players, injuries and club policies. And FFP - very very significant. Injuries this season have been devastating. Not only have we had more injuries than any other club in Premiership football, but they have been to our very best players. How would Leicester have done without Vardy and Mahrez, Arsenal without Sanchez and Koscielny etc

2) However you have to wonder about the training regime which he is ultimately responsible for.

3) He took mancini's squad and lifted morale, but allowed the team to grow old. Yaya Toure being the best or worst example of a player who was at his peak and who should have been replaced. That is bad management. In the modern set-up of MCFC with a Director of Football I don't know who is responsible for that, but I am sure Pellegrini has a part.

4) It's obvious to all that this side needs to be overhauled and that the potential of the team is far weaker than it was when he arrived. Even allowing for FFP, City should and could have replaced players at their peak, or just past it

5) Credit is due for identifying Kelechi. He trusted him by not replacing Dzeko and Jovetic even if he could have played him more often. He may yet not fulfil his promise, but he is in a great position.

Ffp and injuries has fuckall to do with why he's ruined us these last two years, that's a lame excuse.

A bit sad really, but his 3 season's at City could, or is that will, be defined by Today's result and one match. Obviously the History footballing Books will tell a diffetent story.(4 cups)
 
Manuel has left the club in a holistic vortex.

He's probably got 45 minutes left to back up that endorsment by Khaldoon.
