Bony really is a mystery.
How on earth does he get to play at all.
He is ten time worse than Benjani and Samaras, any idiot must be able to see that!

Fernando and Fernandinho were excellent in midfield. Had Pellegrini had a fit squad to choose from he'd have played Toure and we'd have more than likely got beat.

If he gets us to the CL semis, he'll deserve credit. At the moment he's cost us a lot

Give over, we were awful in the midfield tonight and both Ferns were at fault for a goal each. We got badly outnumbered in there and badly needed some quality on the ball in there.
 
not having it, MP has ripped the soul from the team of which RM built, like a dying fire it will spark again before the embers suffocate and die, we may have enough steam to cross the line and finish in the top 4 or make the semis of the champions lge,we may go further and win it but the heart of this team stopped beating months ago

I thought Navas was good tonight. Much more direct. Tremendous workrate. Think he actually took on a defender at some point. One good cross. Admittedly one or two bad ones. He tracks back a lot. We would miss that...Sterling doesn't do as much.

yes i know its a madness statement 'but' if we make the semis we have not really had the hardest route, the man has ripped the soul from the team,ripped up what Mancini built,survived on what Mancini had and now he's showing what his worth is and that is nothing, he is a tactical fool who relies on individuals to perform to save his skin and his time is running out,lets be honest here if pep was not coming for next season he'd be sacked

His workrate is always outstanding.

Thought some of his crossing/shooting (as ever!) could have been better.

He would have been sacked probably st the end of last season, he's second rate and roll on May.

Of course...We'd be much better of with Klippety Klopp, Whinger, Maureenio, Van Hire or Rodgers. Oh hang on....half that lot were sacked. & City got the short straw....well thank goodness.
 
Good from the boss tonight but he had to fecking ruin it by bringing Pony on when we were on top.
 
The way this team has performed the past two seasons hes gonna have to win the thing to really redeem himself. If he does fair play and he will have legendary status but I really cant see this side beating Barce or Munich

Will he. Like Silva his shooting isn;t the best. He's been like this for a while. he does need to improve. If we are a team that aspires to win the Champions League he must add finishing and improve the quality of his final ball.

He very much deserves to succeed because he works so hard and is so unselfish, but he looks the same player who came here.
