He came first, second and this season we don't know yet. Maureenio came 3rd, 1st and got sacked when 15th. So he outsmarted Maureenio who bullied that nice doctor. Taggert surrendered when Pellegrini arrived...he could see the writing on the wall. Mancini lasted 2 seasons so he's outlasted him. The percentage cup hasn't started yet. The PL is based on positions.

It's funny for months you were plugging his win percentage and now it's plummeted its PL positions that count, I'm giving him credit for last night but to come on here gloating abt his PL record you've seriously lost the plot.

So much wrong with that post my head is spinning.
Before you laud us too much for that second place finish try and remember the actual season. We were pretty poor. I very much doubt ferguson retired because of us having Manuel in charge and I guess you were asleep for the other 18 months of Mancinis reign.
 
He picked the obvious side (not always the case) and set them up well.

We should have kept a clean sheet, ( offside and a cockup) and deserves credit for the fighting performance however, there was a 10 min period where we looked like we'd buckle in the second half, kdb was tired, there was no 'outball' and we seemed all over the place. There was no sign of anything reactive from subs point of view and a Bayern/Barca would have punished us.

agree on the tracming back bit,probably the strongest part of his game. His end product though for someone at this level is really poor. Once upon a time david white(although if you seen him now you would get it hard to believe) ran the right wing could rifle in crosses and was good for 25 a season. If we could only find another.

I don't understand it. True blues will remember how bad it was. We always dreamed of being a top team winning trophies. Now we are there & 'fans' aren't happy. I rack my brains but the only answer i ever come up with is 'are they City fans?'

Fernando and Fernandinho were excellent in midfield. Had Pellegrini had a fit squad to choose from he'd have played Toure and we'd have more than likely got beat.

Thought the 2 ferns were superb in the middle. Shame about nando's mistake, but he was solid. Great pairing to have infront of the back 4. Huge Yaya fan, but like these 2 together. Bit part Yaya would be ideal for us...

Bringing Bony on, and then playing him so deep, essentially a midfielder was a huge worry. Didn't understand that one.

But, a good night for us, roll on Tuesday!!

Thats not true. I didn't need to plug his win percentage. Stating facts isn't gloating.
 
Yeh i miss those days. The atmosphere at games then was superb.

I repeat again lets judge the man at the end of the season. We have a good chance of winning this tie now so lets get behind him and the team. As you point out we don't know what position we will finish in the league yet and to a large extent that will determine his legacy. With respect to last night it was a great result in what was a very strange game. It was far from a master class and better opposition would probably have stuffed us but hey we have managed to get ourselves into a good position. However, while I think we had the edge over PSG last night in terms of sharpness I think given we have a must win game Sat evening they will be fresher than us come Tuesday and this could be a factor. Keep the faith.
