another post that seems to make everything so simplistic, you are either shite or brilliant, absolutely no inbetween.
mark hughes, made mistakes, of course he did, but he also gave us some memorable moments, and i cannot remember many shouting for his head after beating chelsea and arsenal in the space of four days.
the away form was his achilles heel, 4 league wins in a season and a half has held us back, but by and large at home we have been fantastic.
the signings have been good, but the shape of the team not always right, but then we are only fans, we dont have the inside track.
mark hughes, was dignified and wanted to be accepted, unfortunately some fans would never be swayed, we won inspite of him and lost because of him, again if only it was that simple.
to my mind, which dont count, he deserved this season, to see if he could win us a cup, or make top 4, but he wont get that chance, so mancini gets my backing, but its with some sadness that we have lost mark hughes, because i have grown to like him, if i havnt always agreed with him, and the sad thing for me was hughes would have loved to have been a hero to city fans, unfortunately many would NEVER allow him that chance.
Good luck to mark hughes, and good luck mr mancini because by christ you will need it with some of the most unsupportive fans in the game.
