Sorry to De Niro, first of all for hijacking his idea from the 'goosebumps' thread, which ultimately turned into a mix of Wembley 99' and Sheikh thread.

Made me remember that day in May though and i've been on YouTube for ages now, even boring my Mrs with the shoot out.

What did you all do that day? Get the train? Car? Bus?
Me and are kid got the train at about 8am. Full of blues, no booze 'allowed'. We had a load of beer on the way to the station but the guards confiscated the rest, nobs. We had whisky for the train though, so that did us just nice. Met some mates on the train and that was that. I admit I was a 'walker' when the 2nd Gills goal went in, and even when our first went in I was on the stairs outside Wembley, slagging us off! Then the second one went in! Back to my seat, somehow. A punch in the arm off are kid for walking out, then the rest is history. Pubbed it round London, nicked 20p off a tramp, got a shit load of whisky and ales for the train home. Best bit was that ride home, City fans strewn all over the aisles, guards just gave up, pissed up loonies everywhere.

Imagine what it would be like for an FA Cup win or something in the future?!!!

i was only 9, we stayed in london over night and watched the eurovision song contest lol. the day was a blur really but i remember the toilets were really shitty considering it was the home of english football. i remember crying a lot and i remember as the ball hit the net for the equaliser and everyone going ape shit. driving back to manchester that night i was emoitionally drained.

I was only 12 and me my dad my bro and all of my dads mates went. We drank in a pub called the green_______??? I remember when they scored the 2nd goal, i went out to the back of the stand and cried my eyes out overlooking london. That there, then was my lowest point of being a city fan. I was still at the back when city scored to make it 2-1, then went back to my seat and continued to watch the game. What happened next was the best moment of me supporting city, the place went mental, i ended up 4 rows down from where we should have been sat. God im glad i chose city

I was in Macedonia watching it on a black & white TV, surrounded by rags giving me shit until Dickov that was anyway!!!!

Yep, worked my own magic that day too. Got tickets of Nick Fenton whose uncle I work with. Fantastic seats too. Took my two boys, 11 and 6 and drove to the most Northerly tube station (Stamford ?) then got the tube to the ground. My only excuse is that it's hard work with two kids in tow, so when the second Gills goal went in I was off to beat the rush. I'd just got below the stand when the first goal went in and I cursed them for leaving it so late. Then started walking slowly backwards to the exit, still out of sight of the pitch, when the equaliser went in. People were leaning over the stairs shouting to come back so we did. The kids have hated me ever since. the eldest is in the Army now but still a blue.

3 coach fulls down from North Wales, Aged 14, drinking a big flask of cider reading FHM I remember haha.

Can remember walking up the big stairs into wembley, sat right beside the tunnel, One of the security took my air horn off me!!!

Remember crying my eyes out with my mate when we were 2-0 down.... But sat behind the shoot out was amazing !!!!
