Wembley tickets

I think it will go to Blue members quite easily. But then that's fine. There's loads of Blue members who can't have a seasoncard for whatever reason so it possibly gives them a chance to see us at Wembley having missed out on FA Cup tickets.

It's a friendly that's why.

I might have been tempted if they'd played it at COMs or OT but I'm not traipsing 200 miles down to Wembley for it.

I'm waiting for them to go on sale to peasants like me that don't have a seasoncard. Looks like there will be some left for us.

It's Wembley. That's part of the attraction. Coming out of Wembley Park Tube and onto Wembley Way and seeing it all before you.

Been waiting for years for the good times and going to make the most of them while they are here.

Does anyone how many have been sold?

Looks fairly grim as none of the Category's are sold out yet.

United haven't sold out either...why the lack of interest?

I think people are buying all over the place. The reason for the big que for the semi and final was because fans wanted the best seats. People who have been, know most views are good and are buying from each category rather than the exspensive ones first.

True that.

I liked my view for the semi although I don't want to pay £45.

I'm going for £25 behind the goal, block 134 I think...getting it tomorrow.

if the club made more tickets available to more people sooner i think the uptake would be far better.

i would love to get 3 tickets for blues who seldom get the chance to see the team, will i be able to get them, not a clue, they have access cards, and know they are down the list in priority, but the club don't even give the indication that there's a chance of tickets so how can they book trains etc.

for all the surveys city send out the sevice is still shambolic at times, i wanted to relocate our family into the family stand and add a junior, i indicated all this in an email to the club prior and during the relocation window, i also expressed it would be impossible for me to call them during the day to do it, due to work, and living 150 miles away meant i couldnt call at the ground, so could they help me out, what did i get, an automated email saying they could take up to 10 days to reply, and then another email saying basically bad luck the relocation window has now closed. City have now missed out on a kid having his first season ticket.

I'm going but can certainly understand why others may not be. Its a bloody expensive day out after a lot have forked out for two trips down there only a couple of months ago. Adding to that the season tickets a lot will have bought, and it soon becomes a lot of money. Especially for families

me neither, its a glorified friendly. I've already promised my ticket to a couple of blues who are over from New Zealand at the time of the game, add to this the big European away games that are coming up I just thought I'd save a few quid to put towards those.

I'd chop my left hand off for a ticket but due to travel distances and only recently being a reasonable age, its been difficult!

I'll still hope and pray to get a ticket for myself and my dad :)

This.

I'm off to Barcelona for a weekend (weekend of the debry) plus saving for some epic European away days. I'll give this a miss. It's a glorified friendly, teams wont be playing at 100%.

I'd rather relinquish my seat for someone who wants to go than buy a ticket myself with my heart not really into going.

This will go to blue members easy. I hope as many of those who missed out on the cup semi and final get the chance to go.
I can't go to the Community Shield due to another commitment but wouldn't be sure to have gone anyway.
For me, if its a straight choice between an expensive trip to London for the CS or an expensive trip to London for a big league game at Spurs later in the same month, then it will definitely be the latter.

Why is it played on a sunday??
Making people wait for ages to get a ticket makes it more expensive for travel/hotels etc.
Why can't everybody with a season ticket apply for tickets if you want 1. ?Then if you've not got enough points you find out quickly rather then waiting to see if it will come down to your point level.I've got 3300 points prob wont beable to get a ticket until the week before. All the cheap train and hotel deals will have gone. It seems I need to join a supporters club!

what day would you like it to be played? you will be able 2 get 1 on tuesday

I'm going especially because it's a friendly and a lot of otherwise totally committed loyal Blues will have better things to do.
I'm going specifically because I couldn't stand to watch it on the telly if I saw an empty seat in the blue half.
I'm going because it might be a friendly but it sets the tone for the season to follow and I don't want the rags to get early bragging rights and I want our players, new and old alike, to feel the love of the fans and to start the season buzzin' with it.

But that's just me. . other people can't make it for a variety of reasons . . I've just put my variety of reasons aside is all.
