Wenger Wont Rule Out City Move....

It would be a new challenge for him and there is some degree of evidence that things might be about to run their course with Arsenal. Anyway, lets big up the pipe dream and hope he comes to City and fetches Fabregas with Arshavin with him.

He'd sell all your experienced players and give the armband to Weiss.

No, that's exclusively an Arsenal mind set. If Wenger is to be believed, it is the Arsenal board that is reluctant to spend much cos the new stadium and the general economic climate have combined to leave them a bit skint. City, on the other hand, are far from skint and Wenger would make a significant number of buys if he ever came to City.

Still not going to happen though. He's Arsenal through and through and it's pretty difficult to picture him anywhere else.

An Arsene mindset, is what you meant surely?

Don't believe anything that comes out of Wenger's mouth regarding especially the financial situation at the club as well as his transfer talk. He's always talking bollocks regarding the two topics. I know for SURE we've got sufficient funds if he wanted to sign any player on his mind. The fucker just doesn't want to. Simple as that.

Seriously tired of hearing Wenger "not being able to buy playerz becuz arse are skint" blah blah its total and utter bullshit.

I wish Arsene would come and manage us, I really do. He is ace.

Tony Pulis is speaking shite, by the way. Wenger was right to whinge like a drain at McCarthy's antics on Wednesday. United shouldn't be getting it any easier than any bugger else, ffs and I don't see what is so wrong about calling Wolves out on it. I hope they get a hiding tomorrow. They probably won't but it would be good for the game if they did.

yeah wenger is great, the right guy for us if we want to do more than just win things.

he was bang on about wolves, it was a disgrace, mccarthy should never have done it so blatantly ;) seriously, it makes a mockery of the whole league. I hope they get docked points, but it won't happen.

anyway, this article is quite interesting, wenger says 'i haven't made up my mind' about managing another club, not 'i've never thought about it'. he will see out his contract, I guess. if hughes loses his job, the ideal would be something like hiddink for 18 months, then wenger. that's a pipe dream though.

I don't like what Wolves did but United did it a few years back and nothing happened to them, Wolves shouldn't be treated any differently.

certainly should not be any different. they should both be docked 3 points. utd's punishment is retrospective....so with compound interest I make it 60 points.

Works for me :)

When manager rumours surround City, Wenger is one manager I never comment on, IMO it's a non starter, I cant see him being involved at any level with any other English club, when he leaves Arsenal (if he ever does), it'll be back to France or somewhere else abroad. But getting wrapped up in the rumour mill, I can honestly say I'd love him at City, he is reknown for treating transfer kitty's like his own money, which is no bad thing, I dont think even with our wealth he'd go mad but He'd alway's be in the knowledge if something went wrong he has massive funds to improve the side. On a side note if he came to us, I wonder who his number 2 would be, in interview's he alway's stresses how he likes his assistant's to have been associated with the club.

if he did come which I doubt as he is part of the furniture at Arsenal...........is he the right person to spend 100's of millions..........

or is he a developer of potential great players........

S.

But I don't understand that. Arsenal are still in the title race, still in the Chimps League and have the FA Cup to come. Why would Wenger turn down money that he could use to help himself and his team to sustain a genuine threat this season in all those competitions. It makes no sense. Unless he thinks his squad are already good enough, which they aren't.
