We're still favourites - WHY?

Oh, that's why we're still favourites...

It is.

Top scorers by a distance. Our supposedly shambolic defence has only conceded two more goals than Chelsea and Arsenal, who are the only contenders to have conceded fewer (Southampton won't win the league even if they maintain the bestbdefensive record). We still have matters in our control: Arsenal are six points ahead but have to play us twice; although with 26 games to go, it is hardly snooker time anyway.

We will win it this year with a euro run to boot..

I don't think yesterday told us anything new. The 6-0s and 7-0s are great but give me a 1-0 grinder at West Brom to really see our title credentials.

When we won the league in 1937 we scored 107 goals! Spooky coincidence? An Omen?

Great result and performance - with a little help from the Spurs defence.

Not to be too churlish - but we've been here before. No complaceny against Swansea and results, not necessarily performances, against West Brom and Southampton are what's needed.

But yesterday was a much needed tonic!
