We're still in it

Imagine after all this Citu and Liverpool talk Chelsea go on and win the League and Champions League double?

It would be so typical of this strange season.

I felt that before todays game we would drop 5 points, Liverpool the same and Chelsea 2. Wishful thinking maybe but if this was the case the final table would read City 86 pts -Chelsea 85 pts and Liverpool 84 pts so all we can afford is to draw one then win the rest.

Going back a few weeks I thought we had to win two of our four big away fixtures i f we wanted to be champions with a preference that Liverpool were one of those wins.

United won
Arsenal drew
Liverpool Lost
Everton??

If we win the last six it will probably be enough. But it is a hell of an ask.

I think hope that they drop points to Norwich is false hope. They obliterate them every single time. Because they're fighting relegation won't change anything.
In the last few seasons we had also battered Norwich in every game apart from the last game of last season when we had nothing to play for. We smashed them 7-0 earlier this season and most people thought our game at Carrow Road this season was a guaranteed 3 points but we drew 0-0. Liverpool will most probably beat them but you just never know!

Is it a big ask? 4 at home, 2 away.

Of course we're still in it. It's over when they lift the trophy

I can't shake the feeling that chelsea will do us a favour at anfield. Let's hope mourinho shuts the place down and they get a bore draw, fucking them both up.

Scousers are now favourites though, no question, but we've been here before.

If they win it we'll come back stronger, we're not going away. We are now paying for all those dropped points away early in the season, when Pellegrini was new to the English game. He'll be prepared next season and we'll win it with a month to go:-)

Re: ''were still in it''

Don't under estimate the impact Henderson being suspended will have on scousers. Their winning run has been mainly unchanged team, now the will have to shuffle the midfield round. Could lead to issues, also Sturridge looked like he was injured when came off.

Jose will LOVE to crash the party & expect Chelsea to take points from Anfield. Everton is a tough game for us because it always is there but we have the players as long as Milner is in, we need his drive & energy.

It is still all to play for I think so we need to keep heads up & get behind the team.

Well the likelihood of that particular prospect has just taken a step in the wrong direction.
