I don't remember it being this disorganised last time.

Is it down to one player being injured, the system or something else?

Stupid suicidal defensive line at free-kicks. Man to man defending. Higher line. No coherent midfield play in front of the defence. There are too many changes.

The good things:

We won 2 from 3, and Negredo and Fernandinho look very very good players. Presumably the teething problems will be resolved and City will go from strength to strength.

Fernandinho has been very average so far but I'm not saying that wont change. But I do agree about Negredo.

Another positive is hat our best signing of the Summer is yet to feature.

We used to defend so well as a unit too even with out Vinny. So it's Pelle's tactics rather than the players then.....

Fernandinho was everywhere today. Our best midfielder today. Was not going to be a game where he could play when we were so bad.

No we were not this bad because we had Gareth Barry protecting the back 4 and doing everything defensive that Fernandinho and Yaya do not, why play them together in the same role when for me that role is crying out for Rodwell, he has the engine to go box to box and he knows how to defend. Now I'm not slagging off Yaya or Fernandinho but they have been plonked out of position and I don't think either of them know exactly what their role is!

And what the fuck did Gaz baz do to be dropped?

Yep, sounds like a plan. Where is Rodders anyway?
