Wesley (Brazilian right back)

Never seen him play but a 21 year right back from Brazil doesn't strike me as someone who could hit the ground running.
Maybe walker is staying for another year while Wesley settles in.

We may have put this out there to show we have more options to a selling club, having been quoted a ridiculous amount for their fullback (cough Newcastle)

Yan Couto is more of a wing back than full back, but he is a very good footballer.

He was arguably the best right back in Spain last year.

Probably a little lightweight for the PL though.
Seems a little weird to me that we didnt even try him out.
Maybe the decline in Walker caught Pep out.

Poor one on one defender. we needed that more in the setup.
I didn't see much of him last season.
I remember him getting rinsed by Vini Jr in one match though
We had a choice of keeping one of Couto or Kabore whilst also having Akanji, Walker and Rico already at the club but have ended up with Nunes as first choice.

Walker and Rico were more than enough when the call was made. Couto and Kabore are both poorer player at the time (still are)

Like Ryerson at Dortmund though

He's not excelled in the bundesliga this year. we've made a pretty penny on him.

The way he hits the ball makes it look like it's made of lead.

Looked defensively sound though
