Re: West Brom away - Banners/flags/smoke bombs etc?
Hiya, I'm Gazza and I love the sound of this, I'm all for it. I've lived in Germany for the past 20 years and don't get to go to many games anymore. I do come home for a couple of matches a year and me next one'll be the Real Madrid game, which am lookin forward to, it's nice to get home and ava drink wi the lads that I grew up with, which incidently, are all blues :) I remember bein at the games which were mentioned on this thread, plus many more. I've mentioned on a few other posts that we really have no need to be downhearted, our fans are top and always have been, but have to admit that the atmosphere has gone a bit flat of late. The difference with Dortmund and us is, they really need to be conducted from the front whilst walkin to a match in their thousands, where as we don't. Anyone remember the pre-season friendly in Hamburg a few years back? We were top that day walkin to the match, no one conducted us and it was one massive loud noise. Top day :) I also remember the old days on the kippax with R kid, sometimes the atmosphere went flat on there anall, it wasn't all good. I remember once when it did get flat and will never forget a couple o' blokes a few steps down from us singin, "Hope it's chips, it's chips. We ope it's chips it's chips......." it dint catch on, but it was funny :)
