How will cancelling your TV improve the team?

If you read back everyone is placing the blame on different players but I cannot believe that all our players can be this bad all at the same time. Every player has dips but every player including players like KDB being shit at the same time I can't believe its just them. I don't know what it is but something isn't right at the moment. We have totally changed the way we play after having it drummed into us that our style win or lose is attacking football so why are we now playing slow boring sideways passing football. Who would have thought a couple of seasons ago that in a derby we wouldn't go for the throat and play as if we were happy with a draw. I don't get it but whatever the masterplan is it isn't working and needs to be changed quickly.

On the evidence of what we witnessed tonight I'm not sure Pep will be the manager next season. Unless form and results improve and quickly this might be the long goodbye.

It should have been cleared 3 times, so the free kick is only a part of the problem, the defending was all round abysmal.
 
Remember in the summer when people on here said we didn’t need grealish or Arouar or another forward HA HA HA

we already had our best CB in stones him Dias and laporte and HB were enough . Should of brought a lb or another creator instead of Ake

I’m confused? Mixed emotions.. normally, given our squad depth, manager and experience, we should be walking the league this season no doubt. Bu we have been woeful.. but and I do mean but.. we find ourselves 5 points off the top having lost as many games as we have won whilst scoring a paltry 1.5 goals a game.

Surely we must improve at some point? looking at the other teams (and injuries) any uplift in performance from us would push us right into the mix.. and a proper run of results would probably push us to the summit.

What a bizarre season... would be hilarious If we suddenly found form and went on to win it.
 
Said it before, will say it again. Pep Guardiola is done here.

He and the midfield are the biggest problems we have - two areas which he has a complete blind spot in. It was never the centre halves.

It's not the players, aside from the ones Pep religiously picks in the midfield. They are the main issue.

The other guys didn't just become shit overnight. They are title winning, trophy winning players. Thoroughbreds.

Was interesting to note how many of our passes near the box they seemed to anticipate and cut out. Was it because we were slow? Because we choose an obvious option? Because we telegraphed them? Because they were trained to know what a certain player would do given the ball in a certain spot near the box? A combination?

This. These players do things other players can only dream of doing every game they keep the ball which is the hardest thing to do.. they just don’t create enough clear cut chances.. it’s a tactical problem not a personnel problem.

We’ve had a change of coach to a much more defensively minded man who likes to play narrow and a 4231 formation.
 
Only the Liverpool and Spurs have lost less games than us and that may change this week.
Strange season indeed.
