Ridiculous statement. He hasn't been in top form but that could be said about most of our midfield and attack. Not being in top form doesn't seem to stop certain other players getting games.

Torres is developing but we can't depend on him to produce very game the entire season. He is a good option to have but we also need to get sterling into form.
I prefer to keep quiet on Bernardo situation. Don't remember last time he came on the pitch this season and made an impact.

Bernardo played well against Sheffield United, Olympiacos and Porto but then found himself out of the team unable to build on that to get form out of individual performances straight/soon after.

Surprised that Stones is left out and even more surprised it’s for Ake and not Laporte.

Disappointed that Sterling has been given yet another chance. He was atrocious at the weekend and should be on the bench.
