We cannot afford to drop points at home against anyone in bottom 10 in PL.
WBA/Newcastle are coming to Etihad this calendar year still and we visit Soton and Everton. Many would say a points is good at away places like this but not if we want the title considering the points we already dropped.
Against WBA Pep needs to prepare full trainings just for attacking and finishing. Get men into the box when crossing, make long shots, use our speed instead of turning back and passing around for the sake of it.
Try to get some chances created for Jesus, out of Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus still Jesus would have imo the best conversion rate but seems like he is ending up the the end of the chances the least.Usually 1 per game, while Sterling and Mahrez seems to have much more. Play Jesus from the wing if needed...
And we deffo need more attacking support from DM/CM's. Arriving at the box like Yaya/Silva setting up a goal or scoring, Foden or Bernardo should have this role, bit worried about Bernardo never becoming this player. Still no one knows what his best position, its not CM, its not AM, its not a wide forward, maybe his best would be a wide midfielder in 442, someone that doesnt hug the touchline but moves inside from wing in midfield maybe...
Wherever he plays he never gets an extended run really in same position, and tbh he does not deliver the performances when he plays.
Rodri will offer next to nothing to attacking game play, Gundogan could but he has no speed and the workrate to run up and down and back but still if a shooting chance is front of him in the box he would score more than Sterling but Gundo rarely arrives in the box for that.
We could even use Cancelo as an option, he has the skills to find spaces and seems to have speed for it too to break the line, we just need some extra in attacking, because currently it is rubbish and kind of easy to handle us especially with the mediocre form of KDb, Sterling, Mahrez...
