Would have expected Laporte to play in the place of Dias, with Ake taking up the right sided role. Pep has effectively rendered him 4th choice CB with this move tonight - quite a big statement.

Other than that would have liked to see Torres in the place of Sterling, but no massive qualms with this selection.

Think we’ll be bagging a few goals tonight.

Bit disappointed to see the 2 pivots against West Brom but I guess that's due to the more attacking full backs. I thought we might go a bit more attacking. Sterling doesn't really deserve his place on current form and probably needs a rest. I assume he'll be on the left and Foden on the right with FBs overlapping. It'll be interesting to see how Dias and Ake work together.

Not the line-up that I would have gone for but hopefully still good enough for the victory. Very strong bench if needed.
