I doubt it. He's playing 2 attacking FBs, so I assume that they will be used to overlap the inverted wingers.

He fucked up at Spurs but this stinks of far more than dropped for an error. Pep doesn’t treat players like this for individual mistakes. I am a little concerned.

Disappointed that Sterling has been given yet another chance. He was atrocious at the weekend and should be on the bench.

I'd agree with this, certainly not being picked on form. Let's hope he has a stormer tonight though, he's due a big game.

Form innit, he was our best defender while he was in undroppable form but he’s now droppable so it’s a form thing.
I suppose it started with the spurs game and then continued with not the best form in training games.
He’ll be back and he’ll be better than he ever was.

Edit; Apparently, he’s had form affecting covid.

3-6 months ago, it was Stones who was on his way out according to a large percentage of the doom mongers . Now it appears to be Laporte.
You just can’t win, there has to be a downside to EVERY fucking team sheet/line up . Couldn’t we just be happy that Pep has total confidence in a centre half pairing of any two of the four recognized first teasers we can draw on ?

Rodri is the new undroppable. Which probably sums up where we’re at currently. Absolutely no need for him to be in the team against the Baggies at home. Gundo played the CDM role brilliantly at the latter end of 18/19 and Pep seems to forget that.

Fern and stones not even in the squad. Our squad is looking very strong just at the right time.

Just need Pep to utilise the bench if we need it rather than doing one change in the last few mins.....seems like that anyway.

Totally disagree about Sterling mate. City with an in form Sterling is a different beast, so if it takes games v crap opponents to do it then it’s worth it

I know but how many chances do you give one player though? We need his goals but he can’t be allowed to stink the place out every week on the off-chance he might hit some form.
