If being quick, strong and having a good leap are the attributes we need in our centre backs we should buy a couple of horses - preferably the top two finishers in the grand national. Though whether they'll be able to form a good defensive partnership at the back is another thing altogether

If you put Bony in a Chelsea or Arsenal side or with wingers who want to get forward and beat their man we would see a different player. However, this tippy tappy rubbish we play doesn't suit him at all.

There were some great low 'crosses' also previously but the guy who should be on the end of those is Aguero. He should be attacking the 6 yard box, not stood on the edge of the penalty area. Bony should be drawing players away from him while it's happening.
Don't get me wrong. Still think you can win the CL. Just saying that if you factor in youth and hunger, the Arsenal, Chelsea, ManU squads are there with ManC. If Pelle is a clueless clown, the logical conclusion is that so are the others. That's absurd.We're doomed, Capt Mainwaring we're doomed.

The chavs results are far better than ours since they got rid of the moaning one, can't agree that the rags have a squad as good as us but that's just my opinionDon't get me wrong. Mods - Have you banned Pell not Pep? I received a pm which asked a valid question and I'll post it here. Sorry if it offends your sensibilities.
Bear in mind I think his idea about wanting the rags to win so we can catch Spuds makes no sense whatsoever, but it's a valid point for discussion as it's still mathematically possible. My response to his pm makes this clear and is shown below:
Pell not Pep: -So if they're the worst Utd team in 30 years as posters keep mentioning why would i fear them being one point behind when it means we can then catch Tottenham? Perhaps you could post this on the forum because the reds mods have made it insufficient privelidges. Thanks. Hope that makes sense.
My response: We should fear them being one point behind us because we are struggling to put a string of results together. The fact they are one of the worst rag teams in 30 years (actually 20 or 25 years would be closer) is testament to our PL struggles this season. We have shown nothing since our early winning run to suggest we stand any chance of catching Leicester or Spurs which is why most would settle for third if we can catch Arsenal or building a buffer between us and the rags.
When we won the league in 2012 there was plenty of evidence to suggest we could go on a long winning run and take advantage of any slips by our neighbours, and similarly in 2014 after Gerrard's slip. There is no such evidence this season.
Conclusion: I don't think Pell not Pep is a rag, he might not even be a wum. However there are plenty of posters who were in the happy clappy camp long after our form went down the pan who are now prepared to criticise MP, some of the players and Begiristain. Perhaps Pell not Pep is more immune to crap performances. I've often said the swamp is full of people who don't complain when City lose, but we also have many on here who prefer blind faith to logical analysis of a poor performance.
I'd love us to win the final 6 games and nick the title (or even second place) but can anybody really see it happening?

Are you saying Mou is a clown as a coach? VDG got rid of DiMaria. Imagine him instead of Sterling with a ManC jersey. Is VDG a clown?
