West Brom post-match thread

Counting Walker's header back to Ederson and Stirlings tap in, the ball was passed 20 times using every player bar Jesus. Pure class.

Just watched it back on Sky. Much better than I was expecting from a lot of the comments on here and in the Match Day thread. Thought we played some amazing football. Cut them open again and again. They created 2 chances all game and then Otamendi gifted them a goal from two yards out. On another day it could have been 8 and we should have scored 5. Just a poor final ball or a weak finish kept the score down to 3. We worked really hard to recover the ball and there was no lack of effort or desire. Stones looked top class all game. Fernandinho was everywhere. We will take some stopping.

Otamendi's thread will get some action today. Its been almost 2 months since the last Otamendi moan. There are some handles I haven't seen in a while. Will be nice to see them again.

That said, awful decision by Ota there

In fairness, he had a very ordinary game. He was lucky to get away with a yellow for a dreadful challenge. As for 2 months, no ... it was 3 games ago when he had another brain fart committing a needless foul in the closing minutes at Chelsea that almost cost us the win. He has some attributes, but he is always prone to recklessness, poor judgment or clumsiness. It didnt matter today as we were 2 goals up in injury time, but this sort of thing will cost us in big games to come.

Bang on, Pulis on the touchline sounds just like a pub team coach "Take 'im on, you go there, stop 'im, stop 'im".
McLean lunged at Walker, off the ground, only Walker's experience and knowledge of that thug McLean and taking evasive self protection action prevented us from having another FB out until the new year. Ref did nothing. A few minutes later Walker kicked the ball away and got a yellow!

Yes I completely agree. The most one-sided 3-2 game I have ever seen, the score completely flattered West Brom.

Somebody is in for an absolute dicking if we cut out our errors.
