PELLEGRINI ON INJURIES: We continue with the same situation with Yaya, Silva and Navas. The three of them are injured for the moment.
Without these three, it will be difficult to beat WBA

Need Nasri and Jovetic in the starting line-up. And maybe Aguero will be a little better for the hour at home to Sunderland. And play Milner in midfield in his best position! Central midfield

The consolation is that wherever Milner plays, he could not possibly perform as badly as he did against Sunderland. And if he plays Garcia then it's got to be only one up top.

I'd go with:

Hart
Zab Kompany DiMichelis Kola
Milner Garcia Fernandinho Nasri Jovetic
Dzeko

Honestly though, unless Aguero's properly fit, I don't think the performance or the result will be markedly different to the Sunderland game. No Silva, no Ya Ya, no Navas and a ring rusty Kun, and the side is denuded of pretty much all of its creativity, pace and impetus. And If we don't get 3 points, then even 3rd place won't be a given. You can't be complacent or unmotivated in this league even for a second

Have to start Aguero just so we can have 3-4 players in the team to get the pass and move football going.
Jovetic, Milner, Nasri, Aguero should be good enough.

Looking forward to this game because it's a challenge, and because of the importance for both teams

Reading Pellegrini's comments, Silva has been playing hurt since the United game and didn't play on Wed because it was 3 days after the very intense Liverpool game. Physioroom has him back for Mon's game, so my bet is he is ok.

Comment on Milner is unwarranted. He didn't have good game on Wed, but he wasn't that bad (put in a very good shift as always, and a couple of decent plays) -- and he was by far from the worst on the team.

depending how results go over the weekend this could be half empty, a real damp squid.

It shouldn't I would like to think the players know there is plenty of work to do still if they want to be playing in the Chumps League next year.

agreed, lets see. that would really cap it off if we missed out on that.

can you imagine the pelli fan boys
"yeh it will do us good to have a year out, re group and that"

:)

City fans who actually get behind the team are now known as "Pelli fan boys"? Count me in then I guess.

When we drew with Sunderland 2 years ago at home it was the 1st time it was out of our hands.Last night was also the 1st time it's been out of our hands so maybe a good omen,WFTTE
No Sunday against Liverpool was

Actually, draw at Arsenal was. This was the first time we had a winnable game and we satisfied ourselves with securing a draw. We were not true to our MP style . It was the most I was disappointed all season (well, maybe I was more disappointed when our coach didn't know we could win our CL group by scoring an additional goal).

So true.
