Great first half. Weather ruined the second. Treacherous conditions on way home.

The only negative are the scroats who seem to turn up with nothing but a fight in mind. They are a fucking disgrace to our club and the behaviour in the concourse before the game where at least 10-15 were fighting other blues and then stewards was completely out of order. Small kids were caught up in this shit but these fucking gobshites don't give a fuck.

This then carried on in block A2 during the game with some tool halfway up wanting a fight with anyone and smacking someone at the end of game.
There's some nasty fuckers following City but there always has been, it's nothing new honest, they were there in the 60s right up until today, i'v had loads of run ins with pissed up Blues over the years and when they see you sober at the next game they can't apologise enough, I know what you mean though, they are a pain in the arse

Thankfully we didn't see any fighting or spats today but I was pretty well pissed off by the young lad next to me who returned to his seat after half time with an opened bottle of beer in each hand, and which he proceeded to wave about with abandon. Mind, you, the daft bugger did get in a bit of a tizz when he couldn't quite work out how to manage two open bottles and his bloody phone at the same time :(

In the blizzard and snow the champions are cruising with another 3 points in tow. And James Milner his jersey to the crowd he throws.

Any pix of Milner boring shirtless under the snow?

Nah! - boring b*stard.................called "Spartacus"

Some points on WBA game.
1). I think Clattenburg or the 4th official should have changed the ball to orange/red. Hart may have punched it away - their goal?.

2) WBA should have changed their shirts at h/t. They were playing in a white shirt(except for a very thin blue line on it )

3) Every Prem team has to have undersoil heating. If it was switched on maybe the pitch would have remained green.

Great superb win - great football in first half. Could have been 5-1 if the weather had not turned.

1) Hart has no excuse. Bad error but in hindsight didn't matter a jot

2) Eh?

3) Every Premier League ground has undersoil heating bar Loftus Road. Undersoil heating only stops the pitch from freezing. Snow will still lie on it. See Fulham at home in Feb 2012 for another example.

I think we'd have only scored 3 regardless of the weather. Maybe we might have nicked another on the break 2nd half but there was a classic case of game management by Pellegrini. It was clear we wanted to waste as little energy as possible whilst still remaining solid and we also took the chance to give 3 of our most important players a breather. We knew the game was won and so did West Brom. We took our foot off as soon as the 3rd went in

City fans drunk and a bit aggressive, Oh what a shock.

Seriously it's always happened and always will, I don't like it, but the best thing to do is avoid it. I don't understand how anyone can be so shocked by this. Go to any football match, to a night out in manchester, it always happens. Drunk people = potential for violence

Its when you can't really avoid it that's the issue. When there's a crowd of them on the concourse or they're fighting on your row or adjacent rows. If they want to go off and scrap among themselves then let them, but the problem with football violense has always been that it traps the people (and their kids) that want nothing to do with it.

Enjoyed yesterday despite loosing 70 quid! My first trip to the baggies - only 3 more prem grounds to go.

Thought city played very well first half.
Hart played well and should be cut some slack for his late error in those conditions.
Also saw a few dickheads in our support but vast majority perfect. You will always get a few. Thought the concourse and ground was dangerous and the ground poor to be honest. Makes you realise how lucky we are with the metro, city square and our stadium.

Good win yesterday, just need to keep the momentum going right up till we play Chelsea which is looking like a six pointer,be nice to have vinnie and Sergio back by then and with a few minutes under their belts...

It is more the drunks who can't handle their beer should avoid being in public. It is always the 5'8" 10st type who need a big group. Anyway there is plenty of evidence a a few bans on the way hopefully.

But they don't hold up.

Thanks so much for posting this. This was the day when as a 14 year old I became a City fan. It was the best football - in the worst conditions - I'd ever seen. It's funny what you forget; I thought City were away & I thought Mike Summerbee wore number 7.

2 things that struck me:
1. Kenneth Wolstenholme commentated like a fan - praising good play without being critical of mistakes. How refreshing compared to the over-analysed punditry we have to put up with today
2. How loud the supporters were. Perhaps it's the acoustics, but it never sounds as loud as that at the Etihad on TV

Thanks again

It was hard enough to stand up that day let alone play football. The whole 90 minutes was like this. Unbelievable football throughout.

It usually is but one of the lads who got thrown out is about 6'5" tall and must weigh about 9 stone!

Are you sure he was thrown out and not blown out by the wind?

Possibly so! He's been signed up by the BBC as Rodders Trotter's double!

Should have been 0-3, Ideye was offside wasn't he? as he was behind Joe for the initial header?

I thought so at first but a freeze frame from the camera that was in line suggests Ideye was level with Kolarov(?) when the ball deflected off Morrison with another defender on the line.

Nice of Joleon to give us the penalty then provide one of his famous shite passes to Fernando to start the third goal. Once a blue always a blue. Tee Hee.

Joleon was saying BEFORE the match - WBA must be wary of Merlin - then takes Merlin's legs for a Nailed on pen.
Nice on Joleon, nice one son!.
