There are some numpties on here who just want to come on and say the opposite. Clattenburg is a cheating twat of the highest order. The sending off was dubious as it wasn't a goalscoring opportunity, he was twenty five yards out running to the right of the penalty box as if you ask a referee its not about the last man. Lescott was also within range of a challenge. As for the other incidents, he booked every bloody tAckle in the first half and Marios booking was a joke with what happened after with some other challenges that went on. Long should have been sent off after he scored as he pulled his shirt over his head and he had already have been booked. Now Mario did the same in the derby last year and was booked by guess who, yep twattenburg. I ll give him the handball outside the box, but he is absolute shite. . I think, however, he's quite a lucky ref for us - only the aforementioned Arse game and Chelsea away last year spring to mind for defeats, but I might be wrong, had a few already and more to come in celebration!

I am absolutely buzzin after that champions performance.
Jimmy was looking immense until his unfortunate red card.

As for Mario I am afraid he will be hounded out of England, the way opposition players and officials are treating him is no difference to racism.
The club need to pursue this otherwise once again we will lose a valuable asset for pea nuts.

You can't blame Clattenburg for booking Mario. It was a late and deliberate kick on another player after the ball had gone. Mario won his fair share of free kicks, played well when he was focused, nearly scored a cracker and picked out Tevez with a great cross which Carlos should have done better with. There was no racism shown against Mario today. He had to be subbed as we couldn't risk him getting a second yellow and us going down to 9 men.

Because I wasn't there with a ruler to mark the exact amount of millimetres.

He jumped from about a yard outside the box and he hand-balled it with an outstretched arm away from goal. I make that about two yards.

James Milner was given his first red card in professional football on his 409th appearance.

Shame that he had to break his streak today. Pretty impressive nonetheless, wonder what the record is for most games without being sent off?

Can't be overstated what a great win that was. We had to contend with:

An early yellow from our most volotile player
A mistake by our normally solid Captain
A red to one of our most influential players of late.
Over an hour with 10 men
Playing against an in form team (100% home record so far)

To come away with 3 points after all that is a Champions perfomance, the scum have done this for years and we are getting the same mentality.

We are 6 points better off than last season against the same teams (That's swapping Swansea for Southampton)

Just wait until we start playing well !!!!

THis! plus we were playing without our main creative force in David too don't forget!
