West Brom Vs CityPost Match Discussion Thread

even despite the win its a fucking shame milner misses 3 games; it seemed a midfield of him, barry and toure was starting to really click and work well together. as i said earlier, i would play kompany there if rodwell and garcia are out, and bring in a defender (zab) who isn't making costly errors.

also, what is the rule on deliberate handballs? twice their players deliberately punched the ball (long and mulumbu) to try and gain an advantage, mulumbu could have even given a penalty away. i don't think its right that we were the team who had a man sent off when they twice committed a foul that is basically cheating - it works in a similar way to diving imo.

i remember ronaldo being sent off at eastlands a few years ago for deliberately punching the ball - i think it was even a straight red. i only ask this cos i thought it was really low of them and more should be made of it

Unless Clattenburg has reported it as violent conduct its only one game (Swansea) Milner will miss.

Knew we were going to win even when Jimmy got sent off. Is that really raggish? Couldn't help myself but just thought we were brilliant all over the park today. Feel a bit sorry for Milner. Love the look of that midfield duo of Barry and Milner, busy, neat and tough. The perfect platform for our superstars!

really? i assumed it was 3. good news then, but as you say, wouldn't surprise me if clattenburg reported it as violent conduct!

Yes....if its a deliberate hand ball to deny a goal scoring opportunity then your off straight red...ie punching one over the bar if you're on the line, deliberate hand ball anywhere else on the pitch is a yellow

Still cant believe we won

When that goal went in...jesus it was sick.
