West coast of Scotland

Western coast of Scotland is my favourite place in the world. As others have said, everything between Fort William and Mallaig on the train is glorious. Have done that journey more than once. Everything north of Glasgow up the A82 is spectacular.

Thanks was going for a few days now extended for 5 days ,cheers

Once had a visit to a company in Dumfries, with my next one in Glasgow. Rather than go up the M74, I took the scenic route through Glen Trool, as I'd been there several years before. Still just as beautiful.
Also, another great scenic road is from Moffat to Edinburgh via the Devil's Beef Tub road. Again, spectacular. Driving back the other way at night is like a rally stage!
