West Ham 2016/17

Andy Carroll threatened at gunpoint on way home from training yesterday.

Fucking hell.

Fucking hell, not the brightest move trying to stop the virtual tank Carroll was in with a motorbike but the whole gun thing is fucking mental. Hope this sort of thing doesnt become more common place, when people talk about how the modern footballer is detached from the fans and reality, shit like this makes you realise why.

You really stuck money into it, and I think both parties get a great deal, city and the council, I don't think anybody kicked up a stink at the time because everyone thought it was good, it still is really. This one is very dodgy, we are not talking millions it's potentially in the billions. I noticed the likes of Seb Coe are keeping quiet about all of it now
Him and Boris got a few bungs for it I bet. Which would account for the hike. Khan despises Boris and would hit the wank wall finding dirt on him.

You might be right mate, but I thought they had dismissed the idea because any money paid for the stadium would leave Manchester. This way everybody benefits.
Yes a sizeable chunk would have gone back to Sport England who part-financed the original build. Also there was no real benefit to the club in buying the stadium, ADUG already had an excellent working relationship with the council re management of the campus and future developments - pretty much everyone was happy with the existing arrangement.

Doesn't the club have a 150 year lease on the stadium?

Serious question just seen the segregation at west ham v spurs must 30 ft apart why can every other club manage with the width of a gang way ?
That's not a stadium fault that's got to be stewarding problem

It's because the fans are big fat cockney wankers!

The answer is similar to our requests that the away fans are shoved out of the way of TV camera's like they are in other grounds and the answer being the police insist on away fans being nearest to where the away fans coaches are for segregation purposes. Yet no other police force has an issue with away coaches being away from the away end.

Probably being over cautious after the incidents against Chelsea
