Yeah 12 points more, more goals scored, less conceded and a finishing postion higher whilst laying the foundations for a record breaking season.

I like Manuel, but those two seasons following 13/14 were akin to peddling backwards and expecting to move forwards. He hardly inspired or motivated either.

Ignore the league cup win and Champions league semi-final?
 
Things going pretty well for Pellegrini, but sounds like Arnoutavic & Chicharito want out which would leave them with no striker options.

I think the fans were more hoping for Batshuayi.

It's a shame because they've got the nucleus of a very good side, but without a finisher they're not going to get very far.

Batshuayi is having a very poor season at Valencia, so I can see them and Chelsea being fairly happy with the idea, but it would be a big risk for West Ham imo.
Can't see where they'd get a top level striker from though.
 
I’ve no idea where either.

Arnies gone basically, was always going to happen after the way he engineered his way out of Stoke. His brother, his agent is behind all this again. We’ll double our money on him granted but whether pellers gets to see it all is another matter.

In other news zab has come out to say he’s leaving all options open for next season, which is progress as he was all set to go back to Argentina. 34 maybe but that f@cker has the energy and stamina of someone 10 years younger. He loves us and likes what pellers is trying to do. Fingers crossed
 
Seems Atletico Madrid may be looking to offload a striker. Kalanic possibly, seems they want to bring in Morata and will make room.

Wonder if that is west ham's best option now? Unless they can get Arnoutevic to knuckle down until May. Bit of a joke how this has come up for the club in January.
