Nothing confirmed yet. Sky reporting that the club's hierarchy are discussing Lopetegui's future. That generally leads to one outcome. Potter is one of the leading candidates for the gig.I think their gaffer just got the boot. Nothing seen on the Beeb yet
Apparently, three men have been interviewed by the board at West Ham. Christoph Galtieri, Paolo Fonseca and Graham Potter, the perceived front runner. While Lopetegui is still nominally the manager! I was going to say that he should jack it in. But then again; why would he do that, and wave goodbye to a nice pay off? I'm tempted to say it serves them right for getting rid of Moyes. Okay; he's not an exponent of "The Beautiful Game", but he led them to their first trophy since Fred and Wilma's day. But the Hammers fans weren't happy with that. That old saying springs to mind; "be careful what you wish for, you may end up getting it. Well; they got it.

Better at Buttplugs than running a football club professionally.Got a lot of time for West Ham as a club but you have to say this situation is being handled terribly. Lopetegui still taking training this morning despite everyone knowing (including obviously the players he's trying to tell what to do right now) that he's basically been sacked. Just a shambles.

And that Karen Brady is giving constant advice in her newspaper column on how we should be running our club.Got a lot of time for West Ham as a club but you have to say this situation is being handled terribly
As the most likeable of London clubs you deserve better, hope you get a decent manager that can move you in the right direction.I feel sorry for Lop, It was a tough ask to takeover from Moyes who performed a miracle for our club - but last year under Moyes the signs were that that we have a ageing slow squad and the likes of Soucek, Antonio, Fabiaski etc worked wonders but can see they're are approaching the end - we still have some class players in Bowen, Kudus, Paquetta (sometimes) - new signings AWB and Summerville have been good but the rest have been flops - Solar, Rodrigues, Alvarez must be the slowest average midfielders we've had for some time and i can't see Fullkrug ripping up trees. So all a bit doom and gloom but i can understand we had our fun in the sun, we need a rebuild and new signings and its going to take time. I'm happy with Potter if he takes over but i don't think he would have done any better than what Lop has if he was here at the start of the season.

I'm surprised Sir Alan hasn't appeared to give his " You're fired" and his customary hand signal in the direction if the exit door.
