I think Bournemouth could be one to keep an eye on as a relegation candidate
 
Feel a bit more optimistic after watching our win over in the US v Everton, Fullkrug lost some timber and looked sharper, Paqueta run the show, few new signings looked good. C’mon you irons !
 
Watching them tonight against Bournemouth. Fortunate to be 2 up but their passing and ‘patterns’ have been there. Nice to see the defenders stepping forward with it too, makes such a big difference to any team instead of taking the easy option back to the keeper.

Sidenote, that Diouf has got some delivery on him from left back. That’ll be a great weapon for them this season with Bowen and Fulkrug up top.

His crossing reminds me of Mendy’s - fast, early and accurate. Really dangerous.

Absolutely no chance you will be flirting with relegation, you have enough quality and there are other far worse squads. Despite a fair bit of evidence to the contrary recently, I actually think given time that Potter can be a good manager/coach. You are by a distance my favourite London club, it would be good to see you doing well.
 
Rumours that stadium security were called to the West ham dressing room after the game.
Allegedly Potter did not leave with the team on the coach...

No idea how true any of this is

Just one season where he reached a higher points total than Beany.

That's interesting and suggests Potter's career in England is a bit of a myth. He was bigged up by the media though. Still the press never let the truth get in the way of a good story about a "talented" English Manager.

zero point keeping Potter, he's fucking turgid, inspires nothing.

we're in serious trouble.
 
I understand when continental managers come in and are ignorant to the pace of the English game, or arrogant of it. But surely even with a limited budget Potter knows you need plenty of e edgy and pace. They have 2 or 3 quality players, they need complimenting with enervy and pace. It’s not a failsafe, but you have a chance, you have no chance without energy.
