Don't see any reason why they shouldn't go full strength. They're not getting top 4 and it's no problem if they lose the odd league game trying to get to a final. It's what all fans dream of. I can't for the life of me see why other clubs not involved in relegation don't go all out and try to win a trophy.
No reason they can’t get top 4. Are United going to stop them? Spurs who they just beat? Three teams in City, chavs and dippers are miles ahead of the rest, 4th is for the taking

Because they have no chance of winning one?

They're not getting top 4

Aren't they? United are shite, Brighton can't sustain their points 'cause they've got no goalscorers, Spurs are only gonna get worse and worse until they sack Nuno, Everton will finish 9th every season for the rest of eternity, Arsenal are a mess and Leicester can't even get top 4 when it's basically been handed to them and they're five points clear of fifth at Christmas.

Sounds to me like the well-managed West Ham side with a balanced squad and some great players has a very good chance of getting top four.

They have been the best side in the Europa league by a mile so far, so I expect they might get caught in the old dillema of whether to prioritise the Europa league winners place in the CL or the 4th place spot.

Will depend on who drops down into the Europa but right now they're favourites.

tonight game is we must trust the pep's system and squad players and couple of younger players to hold up against a very strong west ham side. i will say our luck has to run out at some point in the league cup with winning it 4 years on the bounce but i even hate losing the toss for the kick off am that blue

Sixty thousand full house tonight, chance to impress loads of young Hammers fans being brought maybe for the first time, a wish to keep the feel good factor going, their weekend game being on Sunday, and the likelihood that deep down he know top 4 could be a step too far, all for me points to Moyes picking his strongest team tonight.
