Honestly, he really didn't have much to do on Saturday, was more like a glorified training session for the centre-backs, he should be fine if Pep wants to give him another go. Personally would liek to see him and Willy again but suspect Ota and Bravo will come in

It was noticeable in his post match interviews he mentioned that he didnt have a pre season, every game has been like the first of the season, doesn't expect to be at his best for a few games etc. I suspect that he's probably more fragile mentally than he lets on. Understandably so. Asking him to play again in midweek could be sending him the wrong message "We need you, you have to play". Its just encouraging him to over do it. It's what we did last season leading up to his injury against Kyiv. Just let him play once a week for the next month or so.
 
I hope Kompany plays. As long as he's fully recovered I don't see the risk and he needs games. We've got Monaco coming up and the more games he gets under his belt the better.

Yes, its funny how quickly things change isn't it. If Kun was on the bench on Weds for Jesus i dont think too many people would be up in arms. Its certainly given the squad a massive boost and nice options to have.

Has Pep ever played 2 up top? Or would he more than likely move Jesus out wide?
