I just got that impression from yesterday's press conference, where he talked about the need for Silva and De Bruyne to be further forward, whilst talking about Sane, Sterling and Jesus as the future. It's probably a case of 2 + 2 = 5. I gave up trying to confidently predict Guardiola's line-ups a while ago!

While I would defintiely play KDB myself, he's not really getting many assists lately - 1 in his last 6 I believe.

He needs to be in there for his general play, not the assists, although he's been let down by the forwards a fair few times this season.

Better finishing, as you state, and he'd have another 5/6 in the same amount of games....

Carrol is a weird fucker. He is absolutely unplayable if he decides to be. But most of the time he just jogs about making half arsed attempts at challenging for the ball.

When, on occasion, he really goes for it, he gets it. He's no mug as a footballer either, some of his finishes are absolutely outstanding, just looks a bit clumsy at times. But same thing, half the time he is not really concentrating, which makes it worse.

If he decides to turn up, whoever plays against him will struggle. But most of the time he doesn't bother.

I'd have Jesus floating more rather than winger though. Sterling is out as Pep mentioned how much he has played and I think he will be rested. Wouldn't mind him playing for Silva though and Jesus up top.

Subs: Willy (maybe deserves a start), VK (a day to early for him I think), Stones, Ferna (Yaya playin to well to drop), Delph, Nolito, Kun/Jesus.

IF we get a goal in the first 20 minutes can see us playing some lovely football and winning comfortably, need to be well disciplined as they will target set pieces and balls into the box. Think however though we will score early and dominate the midfield. Sane and Raheem to run them ragid and get 2/3 assists between them.

0-4 - Kun, KDB, Jesus & Yaya

Yes, that Silva & De Brunye centre mid has been a right failure.. It's only won 10 out of 11 games it's started. The 11th being Spurs.

Anything other than the 4-1-4-1/433 formation has in the main failed.
