This is the game where we don't make Andy Carroll look like a Ballon d'Or winner. If we do put in the same amount of work we had done against Spurs then we can't complain too much

Yes, that Silva & De Brunye centre mid has been a right failure.. It's only won 10 out of 11 games it's started. The 11th being Spurs.

Anything other than the 4-1-4-1/433 formation has in the main failed.
Both at center mid?

The difference between the FA Cup game and this one will be their keeper.

For some strange reason they play a clown in goal for their league games.

Could say the same about them! Adrian is a much better keeper than Randolf

I could play in net against these and I would still expect us to win

I actually disagree
Randolf has proven himself very good of late, whereas Adrian has lost his place after a serious drop in form
Typical spanish type keeper full of decent shot stopping but abysmal consistency, reminds me a lot of Reina, who despite this would be great in our current side

The pessimist in me just thinks that we are not going to go and slap them about after them rolling over a month ago
Really do not rate them but they have beaten us in the past on the break and then sitting deep, but the huge pitch should help us
Total coin toss depending on which City side turns up. We must, must, must score first tonight as the Everton game showed that away from home (as apposed to arsenal at home etc), our history of over turning away deficits, is abysmal.

I don't watch enough of West Ham but always thought Adrian looked good, he actually looked good in the cup game. I thought so

We should win today, but I don't think we will walk over them. 1st goal is vital as if we get it early, their fans and players could fear a repeat of the cup game
