West Ham (a) pre-match thread

We need to take our chances we missed some sitters yesterday v Liverpool.

West Ham will be up for this & it will be a tough game. Get 2 first half goals and close the game up as our fitness will no doubt drop in the second half.

The first month or two is going to be really this season. Any other year you'd be looking to ease in, but both us and Liverpool set such high standards during the run-in and I think that is going to extend into and shape the new season in interesting ways. Even a draw feels like it could be crucial come the end of the season, but that is the mindset that Pep always has and I do wonder whether Liverpool will struggle playing like that from game 1.
