When Foden and Torres came on against Porto we looked so much more energetic and instead of going with that again we just revert to what preceded it

You do wonder what goes on in his head these days. Goes on about fatigue etc, always chops and changes when we’re playing well. Has options to change things after a slow boring performance against a very poor side midweek and goes unchanged.

This line up shows that he has his favorite players and he doesnt care how they perform on pitch good or bad they will play.

Exact same team has to be a first for pep. A mistake imo, not because of who he’s put out there just that he’s not utilising the full squad, could easily have freshened it up and not been weaker. Also suggests he was happy with the Porto performance which isn’t encouraging. Still, it should be enough to get a win just not expecting it to be pretty.

Bizarre lineup once again. The blind spots we all see for Gundogan and Garcia is more and more concerning.

Laporte is starting to worry me now aswell, one of the best defenders in the league on his day he just isn’t having many days though unfortunately. Really hope that big injury hasn’t worn his body down but we simply do not see enough of him because he’s never fit.
